I purchased this lightsaber to complete my darkside collection, and I decided to get it from 89Sabers because I have never been disappointed by their quality. I have a DV4 and didn't really like the width of the grip with the fins....this lightsaber is no different. That said I like the DV6 the best, and this version is really well done and comes with a screen accurate blade plug.
My only complaint, which surprised me, is that the removable chassis that came with it has no kill switch. I have several 89Sabers hilts, and all have this feature except this one. That said I am still pleased to own it.

This saber has a parasitic drain on battery, just sitting around drains in a few days with no use (checked battery, ok). been trying to contact Carl at CCSABERS for a while now, no response for weeks, then responded with no solution but to sell this saber on my own and buy a new one from him? wow!
I own 3 sabers from carl, this is one of them and 4 others from other sellers. first real problem. disappointing response after weeks of waiting…. beware
The customer notified us this saber drains the battery very fast after almost a month of usage. He wants to return and exchange it for a different saber. We suggest he send it back to us and take a look. If the issue exists, we can ship him a new one.
We also feel sorry about the late and not well-thoughted replies during our recent move. Hopefully, the customer can give us a chance to work this out together.

If you're looking for the ultimate Darth Vader lightsaber, this is it. Shipped and arrived in 4 days, customer service is extremely fast and helpful. This thing is hefty, extremely detailed and well-made. Only issue is the D-ring clip on the pommel cap while very high quality is loud and clacks back and forth while wielding it and is quite annoying and gets in the way. Honestly, that's my only gripe with it. If you're looking not only for an extremely fun lightsaber to play with, but also one of the most realistic and accurate hilts out of the entire franchise, this is the one to get. You won't be disappointed.
