Great quality. Good packaging. Fast delivery. Get proffie if you can, it’s so much better. Coding my own sounds and effects onto the saber is a must as the stock out of the box experience is pretty lackluster. Once you have tailored it to you, it’s the perfect replica.

This is an excellent saber. The quality is amazing and it’s super light and easy to wield. It was delivered in excellent condition not damage at all. But my one complaint is that I wished it had better sound fonts and actually used fonts from Jedi survivor. But I plan on learning proffie so I can do that myself. Other than that I’m happy with my purchase and look forward to buying here again.

This hilt is amazingly high quality. They have updated the design as well to feature a more accurate copper and silver base on the emitter. The removable chassis housing the Proffie board are super convenient, and it came with a set of gloves and stand with plaque not advertised on the site as well. The stock fonts are okay but I recommend learning Proffie and making your own Proffie setup, there’s a lot better fonts out there (I’m sure they chose what they did to show off all the different effects of a neopixel/Proffie setup). In my review video the fonts (blade styles and sound effects) are not what comes stock, but an example of what you can do if you learn Proffie.

This is my first time owning a lightsaber ever & Ima have to say it is so worth getting. The saber is high quality and honestly by far the best saber to own since the sound effects and blade effects is awesome! honestly would by another saber from this company again! :)

Absolutely love it! This is my first high quality lightsaber and it was super easy to set up with the enclosed instructions. The blade is very bright throughout, hilt quality is fantastic, smooth swing is very responsive, and the speaker sounds great. Love the sound fonts and color options that come preinstalled with the board. Shipping was also really fast. Definitely will be getting another blade in the future!

Where to start with this one? Compared to many other options for a 3.5 Obi saber, this is so, so accurate and detailed. It makes my previous version look like a toy! The hilt is perfect. I love the gold and brass finished thin neck emitter and the grenade grip. Classic. Weathering looks very nice. I also like how the proportions are correct and it is easy to grip and handle (others are too large/heavy). Nice balance in the hand. With the Proffieboard, the sounds are wonderful and I love how they can be customized. Blade is sturdy and bright and the effects and different blade styles are fantastic. It's also perfectly sensitive to clashing, which makes it great to simply tap against something to get the blade clash effect, but not overly sensitive - it won't "clash" just from swinging like some others can. Smooth swing is a revelation to me and it sounds so realistic. Nice and loud. While I will use this with a blue color blade as part of my costume, the color options are a ton of fun for other uses. And the included case, blade plug, and stand are great to have. Covertec wheel fits a Covertec clip perfectly. Of the six sabers I have, this is the best saber I've ever bought, and excellent customer service as well. Thank you!

Nothing but good things to say, buying a lightsaber can be scary cause you never have that guarantee of quality and service but not ccsabers, the costumer service is unmatched answering every question along the way and the product itself I feel like Obiwan-Kenobi, Huge quality, packaging is gorgeous, all the accessories are very useful and the caseee!!!, will be buying here soon, don’t hesitate This is the way.

I wanted to aim for the highest quality for my first saber. I was not disappointed. From the generous extras like the included pommel cap to mimic the on-screen saber, to the display stand with a plaque, I couldn't ask for more. Included charger for the battery, gloves to handle the saber (came a bit dirty in the box despite the brand new smell).

Pros:

- Full metal saber
- Accurate proportions of the emitter even with the blade on
- High-quality 3D printed chassis
- Quite a loud speaker for the size
- Branded pouch to carry the saber hilt if needed
- Pre-installed fonts
- Neopixel blade (don't expect white core + color rim to the eye; this doesn't exist, but it will do the effect in pictures and videos)
- Fast shipping (two weeks to France)
- Fast responses to questions by email (within hours)
Cons:

- Foam in the case was damaged for some reason (I don't know why, but it's minor and I don't mind)
- Gloves had brown spots on them
- Despite the nice envelope, the instructions are quite dull-looking; they could benefit from a small visual upgrade (quite minor, I need to find bad stuff in the smallest things, you know)
- No Obi-Wan font from stock settings (there's one but I don't have the reference; it has a red dot moving up and down through the blue blade) on an OWK lightsaber; it's quite surprising

Small suggestions:

- Why not have a small upgrade fee to get an included Covertec clip?
- As mentioned above, the instructions are not that obvious for a novice (like me). A linked video tutorial on how to properly use a Proffie lightsaber would be a great help (many tutorial videos on YouTube have custom settings that I can't reproduce. It's a bit frustrating for newbies)

PS: Expect an extra 25€ of customs fees on delivery in France!

Overall, if you're a fan of Star Wars and want the best lightsaber on the market, this is it. Period.

Fantastic lightsaber and blade! Super bright and amazing sound. Configuring the Proffieboard took a little bit of getting used to, but after a few hours I've got the blade I've always dreamed of! Hard carrying case is rather flimsy, but everything shipped well and arrived quickly.

Purchased this when it was in-stock. Delivery was quick (10 days). The case and packing was very good. The saber feels great and looks beautiful, with a perfect balance of some weathering (the grenade grip) and some shine. The blade is bright and sound is clear and loud. Minor gripes: I wish the blade plug were the same color as the emitter. I don’t love some of the installed sound fonts and would have liked more Obi Wan specific ones, but I can sort that out myself. This is my favorite saber design, and I’m quite pleased with this version.

The saber is korbanth level accurate and pre-installed for half the price of a empty korbanth hilt. What's not to love!

For background, I own a few dozen sabers from several companies including six others from 89Sabers. I purchased this lightsaber to have an accurate graflex style saber to have in my collection, though I don't particularly prefer them as I find them very bulky in hand (especially the various Vader models).
This saber blew me away when it arrived. The obvious quality of the construction and the nice heft in your hand immediately impressed me. The handle seems much slimmer in my hand (and had me researching "skinnyflex") and the design was just beautiful. As usual it has the 2 button controls found on 89Sabers Proffie's, which I prefer and the sound was really loud. Also, I appreciate the well made 89Sabers chassis with kill switch, though I look forward to them updating their chassis design to include a charging port which is becoming the norm for high end sabers these days (that and PCB connectors for the chassis). Overall, this is one of the nicest hilts in my collection, so much so, that I am waiting on an AS2 to ship that I ordered after receiving this.

This is my first time buying anything from CCSabers and I opted for a Lightsaber I've been wanting for years. I'll say that I'm not disappointed in the slightest. Not only does this Lightsaber look exactly like Ani's from Revenge of the Sith, it feels like it's ripped straight from the screen. I own the Hasbro version and it pales in comparison to the 89Sabers AS3.

If you're on the fence about buying one, I honestly couldn't recommend it more. I'll 100% be buying from CCSabers again and more than likely getting another 89Sabers Lightsaber. The quality it just perfect and I could not be happier with it.

This lightsaber is absolutely perfect. I’ve been wanting Anakin’s hilt for many many years, especially the 89sabers version and this saber lived up to the expectations. This is my upgrade saber as the title says. I started with a UltraSaber light saber and was satisfied with that but it felt lacking more in the sense of the customization and feedback of the saber. I don’t really duel these its more show and tell and just collecting them. One thing I am a bit disappointed on is the speaker on this hilt is not as loud as I hoped for. I’m not looking for something crazy but even with the volume adjustment it is way quieter than my UltraSaber. Looking over these facts I still love my experience with CCSabers. Honestly, it was hard looking for a saber seller that is vouched for by the community it literally required me to do my due diligence and pick and choose from the few. Carl is outstanding and easy to work with. Customer service is already through the roof as my order has a bit of a imperfection and I noted this with Carl and he sent me a replacement pommel right away no questions asked. I absolutely looooove my fallen order saber. I bought one from another site (I don't care that's how much I hate them) saberspro. Refunded the same day I got it. For 600 bucks you get a plain saber no leds at the bottom where it was damaged no aux button the details were minimum at best. This one from CCsabers is flawless. Has everything you'd want In a fallen order saber. Has the leds in the pommel has the aux button and they even pre loaded alot of fonts with gesture control. Can't say that for saberspro. Hands down the best saber I own so far and will definitely most definitely be buying another Kylo Rens saber is calling my name!!!!!!

The ventress is a very beautiful saber ,liking the two tone metal gives it depth. The speaker is very load not muted by leds on the end,but disappointed with the order.I bought during a sale I didn't receive my free saber for purchase over $300 or a stand case is very nice.tho.sent many emails..no response. A very sleek and good looking hilt with a visible kyber crystal. Only drawback is the chassis, which is very tight for the battery and to get to the SD card, I had to push the proffie board a bit up and thank god, nothing broke. Sadly 89 Sabers did not provide a saber stand, but this is not CCSabers fault. I am happy with this hilt :)

This saber is fantastic, I love its design with its mesh/honeycomb style parts, its two crystals!

I like the hilt a LOT. I'm not thrilled about the crystal-chamber-in-the-pommel concept - 4 stars. The electronics were installed well, but the chassis design and layout of the wiring fall short - 3 stars. The hilt chassis blocks the view of the crystal chamber and the wires running through the hilt chassis are visible. I disassembled the hilt and concealed the wires, but couldn't reposition the chassis so that it didn't obscure the crystal chamber. I also rewired the hilt chassis and the core to provide individual control of the crystal chamber and pommel LEDs. They now both have their own data pads and the crystal chamber is now programmed to pulse when the blade is off. This flexibility could have been enabled by a different approach to the wiring in the original install without creating additional effort.

First lightsaber ever purchased, so the review will reflect this.

Visual impressions:
The pictures do not do this lightsaber justice. It is a beautiful lightsaber (if a piece of metal tube can be described as such). The hilt is light with a nice glossy shine making it a fantastic decoration on any shelf or table with its supplied stand and name plaque. The red inner casing by the emitter is a beautiful contrast to the chrome.
When the lightsaber is turned on, it goes from being a thing of beauty to a piece of art. The 2 crystals top and bottom add an extra dimension to an already incredible hilt.

Usage impressions:
The blade is light and when connected to the hilt does not feel top heavy. The center of gravity feels well balanced where the blade meets the hilt. Also the hilt is narrow and I with small hands had a good grip around the hilt. For me, the weight, balance and hilt diameter made it feel good for spinning and twirling.

Software impressions:
The lightsaber came with 13 soundfonts where one was a dublicate, so in actual 12 soundfonts. Being labeled as the Ventress I would also have expected an actual Ventress soundfont, which there wasnt.
I am aware since it is a proffieboard, that sounds and blade styles can be downloaded and customized. This was just my subjective opinion. I have informed Carl about this and he in turn has informed 89Sabers.

CCSabers + delivery
Since it was the first time I ever purchased a lightsaber, and not much of an online customer, I had a lot of questions before and after the purchase. Carl the owner of CCSabers answered in a timely fashion (7 hours time difference), patiently, politely and competently. The lightsaber arrived via DHL a little over 1 week from purchase (living in Scandinavia), and I could follow the status of the delivery via the tracking number supplied by Carl.

Overall impression:
The lightsaber is just awesome in both looks and usage. Aside from the slight dissapointment from the software, the service provided by Carl and CCSabers more than anything compensates for the dissapointment, and I thereby give the rating of 5 stars and will surely purchase from Carl and CCSabers again.

I just got this and I couldn't be happier. The gloss finish is excellent. The crystal in the middle is very visible and the crystal in the bottom is well done too. The bottons to activate the saber feel solid and not mushy. It even came with a display stand. I prefer this one over the korbanth version, which I also have.

I grew up with the plastic version of this saber attached to my hip at all times. When I saw 89 Sabers had produced such a stunning replica, I had to have it. Once received, it was everything I wished it would be, and more! CCSabers even throws in some other special surprises in their packaging. Great price, great service, incredible product!

Beautiful and accurate looking hilt, vibrant blade, easy to follow instructions, and convenient protective case for storage. Everything I was hoping for and more. I did have to tighten the power and aux buttons a little to make them feel more sturdy, and sliding/locking in the chassis (board/battery piece) into the hilt properly is a bit trickier than I expected, but those would be my only (very minor) cons. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this saber and CC Sabers overall.

Was quite surprised when I ordered the 89sabers OB1 and received what must be an updated version because mine featured a purple crystal which is accurate to TPM! Overall very pleased with this hilt and it’s made a fine addition to my collection. CCsabers has become one of my favorite companies to purchase from.

Great Obi Wan Kenobi Episode I lightsaber. The attention to detail is impressive, with every element of the design faithfully reproduced to create an authentic and immersive experience. I also received a fantastic stand with the hilt as well. Couldn’t be happier.

Perfect in every way

I wish that I could have given this lightsaber five stars. In most ways, it is beyond my expectations. It is by far the nicest lightsaber that I now own. The proffie board is amazing, but the unvented pommel area really muffles the sound. My only real problem with this lightsaber is the rubber grip pieces. They are not all the same length, some are cut uneven, and it bugs the hell out of me. For the money, and the attention to detail on everything else on this lightsaber, the cheapest pieces were skimped on. Like I said, I wish that I could give this lightsaber five stars, but the differences in the grip length are far too noticeable. I’m sure that I will buy another lightsaber in the future.

As a 14 year old fan of Star Wars since its release on May 25, 1977 I dreamed of one day having the same lightsaber handed down to Luke SkyWalker by Ben Kenobi.

I couldn’t afford the first Master Replicas props and soon college, jobs and family became priorities. Last year I purchased the 89 Sabers “Mace Windu” with the Kyber crystal and after seeing the quality of the build was brought back to the one lightsaber that started it all.

Now 47 years later after doing research on many versions I own that lightsaber! The build on this is simply amazing! Designed around the Graphlex it has the weight and feel you would expect. The working latch and D-ring make it feel even more authentic. Just being able to hold this brings back so many fond memories.

This is my 2nd 89saber from CC and I couldnt be happier with it. As always Carl's customer service was on point & I plan to get the 89 Vader ep4 next from CC this summer to complete my ANH collection

So, the build quality and appearance of this thing are pretty perfect. It feels great in your hands (perfect weight). However, the fonts installed are pretty bad and now I’m going to have to learn to program this thing in order to get it to be what I want it to be. (I know Proffie’s require that commitment to be able to customize them, I just assumed that the fonts they came with would be awesome and I’d be fine with them. They really aren’t.) The other bummer is that the D Ring is installed in a way that blocks the vents/holes on the bottom of the saber so the sound is SUPER muffled. (If there’s any noise in the room, I can’t hear the saber almost at all.) I took the D Ring off which uncovered the holes and solved the problem (sounds great!), but I shouldn’t have to do that. The D Ring is part of the aesthetic. While these aren’t “end of the world” kinds of problems, I expected more for something I paid over $500 for.

Delivered missing a stand (when it is advertised to include one) and a blade plug broken in half. The owner said will ship another plug but it has been 6 months without anything.

Yeah the lightsaber is great and anything in terms of quality, but they are reselling it from 89sabers anyway. Overall, I love the lightsaber, which is 89sabers, but the experience, buying at ccsabers, is terrible.

I want to preface this by saying that the shop owner is fantastic and responsive. The saber was in perfect condition and everything was included. My only gripe is with the 89 sabers portion of it. This is no fault of CC sabers, but the 89 sabers installs are not the greatest. Luckily, I have a background in software engineering so reprogramming it wasn't hard. Just keep in mind you're going to have to tinker with this saber if you want to get the best out of it. There's plenty of resources out there to figure it out.

The saber is awesome, has the sound I want on it and it’s super well balanced, been handling it about a week now and I just love it, had to fix the blade plug, but other than that, perfect!

This is now my third Lightsaber from CCSabers/89 Sabers and I am continuously impressed by the quality. Each one I've bought has had zero issues, easy to use, and just an overall great experience. As someone who has been weary of custom sabers, I fully trust 89 Sabers to deliver a great product and a BEAUTIFUL hilt that is extremely accurate to the films. This saber is my personal Holy Grail of the entire Skywalker legacy and a dream of mine since I was a kid first introduced to the 1997 original trilogy remaster on VHS. The hilt design is super robust, feels great in-hand, thinner than I expected (but this is also my first neopixel replica) and the weight is just perfect! I love it, my kids love learning about these sabers, and I’m excited to expand my collection. A huge thank you as well, Carl for your help with the Proffie settings!

These are GREAT quality but it's annoying to have so many options honestly I just want some basic stuff like the ignition and one color and the typical sounds...I find myself frequently having held the button too long or something and now the blade is a friggin rainbow and I can't undo whatever I did

I bought the black neopixel version of this lightsaber and it looks gorgeous! The base's materials are high quality; it is made of a glossy finish metal and has a good weight. I can see some finger prints on the handle after use, but it's not nearly as bad of a finger print magnet as a glossy backed phone. The saber as a whole feels comfortable to hold and swing, but doesn't feel secure enough to duel with. The blade is also super vibrant, which is expected from any neopixel blade.
The software loaded on the saber works well enough. Lots of preset colors and effects, many of which are based on the sabers of popular Star Wars characters. The app (Xeno Configurator) for this saber on the other hand is questionable. It has a lot of functionality, but is not the most intuitive or reliable.
Finally, the customer support for the saber has been great! The ship time was under 2 weeks, and CCSabers was quick to respond and help when I had questions about usage.
