The pictures and videos you see online do not do it justice. The quality of it is insane. This saber is beautiful top to bottom. Feels incredible in the hands. I will be buying another saber from here.
Overall I’m pretty happy with it. The lightsaber is nicely made, looks great, feels pretty sturdy and came nicely packaged. The button could have a better 'feel' to it but it works. The weathering was ok, it had some blotches that made it obvious that a liquid had been applied, but it wasn’t anything some very light sanding couldn’t fix. Sanding also took care of some sharp edges on the control box, and a bit of tape prevented the cover of that box from sliding off when swung. I also removed the triangular belt clip that jangled annoying, but that’s a personal preference. In all it took 5 minutes to get it to a point I was really happy with its appearance and how it felt in hand. If I was to do it again, I would get the non weathered one and do the weathering myself. Do keep in mind that the control box can make it awkward to wield in mock battle, but that's just part of Luke's saber design.
Software side, I went with the Xeno core, and while it’s super easy to change color/effect/settings through the phone app, I wish I’d gotten the Proffie core. The Xeno one only lets you pick from a set list of pre-configured effects, and they are all kinda meh. I contacted support to inquire about buying a replacement Proffie core (I don’t have the skills to change just the card itself) and got a quick reply that yes they could sell me one and would get me back with the pricing, but haven’t heard back since, even with some follow up email, so we’ll see…
This is probably one of the best pixel heads around fits most chassis and pretty much indestructible the best thing CC saber sells
Absolutely amazing product. Detail is incredible. Blades fit nice and snug with no wiggle. Proffie board is amazing. This is a very high detailed replica and I am extremely satisfied with what I have received.
For my first fancy lightsaber, I wanted to have a non-character design. This one caught my eye. I enjoyed the option of a wrap and the cut vents on the emitter are nice.
The saber, with blade attached, is quite well balanced for my use.
Oh, the shipping department works faster than their software. I got my package the same day I got my saber, which was quick without any extra for shipping.

To explain my use case, I am planning an Obi Wan cosplay and after much debate I decided on this SE version and splurged on the proffie board.
Very happy with my choice, I’ve been learning different spins and flourishes and I think this slightly off model stunt edition is the perfect balance since I don’t plan on keeping it untouched on a shelf. It’s a toy, anyway.
I would like to add that I thought from pictures I would need to install a Covertec wheel, although it does actually come installed. I think it’s just omitted in the photos as other sites selling this brand seem to have it installed in their pics.
I cannot speak to the longevity yet, but CCSabers was quick to answer my shipping questions and while I am not a huge fan of DHL it did arrive promptly and undamaged.
The battery comes installed in the board, so it will likely arrive drained. Mine did, so don’t sweat if the hilt makes some cracking sound effects as you are taking it out the first time, you just need a charge upon receiving it.
Cannot wait to blow more money on Neopixels in the future hahaha!
Recently purchased the 89sabers Obi Wan ep3. Firstly, I received the product a week after purchase, which was swift considering it was being shipped to the UK. The hilt itself is remarkable, the built quality is brilliant and overall the package as a whole provides you with everything you need to use the saber or have on display. I did have a issue with the power button, but a quick email to CCSabers and Carl helped me solve the issue promptly. Happy with my purchase and looking forward to add another to my collection.
Amazing hilt, cool sounds fonts, only downside is the speaker is CRAZY QUIET,
At max volume you can't even hear it next to some others from CCSabers. I'd suggest a better speaker like all the others from this seller. But I'm not sure off the top of my head if it's maybe smaller. But it's definitely like a 3rd of the volume.
This was my first saber for my collection.

Pros:
The weight of the hilt was nice.
Proffie Soundboard was great to have.
The illumination in the middle of the hilt was one my favorite features of this one that 89sabers created.
Shipping was very timely.
Cons:
The Gold button on the longer saber does not work. Looks like the alignment was off. (Messaged CCSaber Twice no reply) that part was disappointing
The blades for both when connected to their respective hilts does get wobbly, make sure to use the retention screws. The retention screw will hold the blade from falling out, which helps prevent the gap from the gold prongs and blade disconnecting causing the blade not to illuminate properly.
Light Dueling
I was missing the 2 battery chargers in my package. (CCsaber did plan to send me set)
This is now my 5th saber from CCSabers/89Sabers and each time I'm continually impressed with each hilts attention to detail. I only have one complaint, and it wasn't enough to take a point away, but not having a Cal Kestis font pre-installed kinda sucks. I know that's an 89Sabers thing, but I thought I'd mention it for future buyers.
This is well worth the money and if you're a fan of Cal Kestis like me, you'll definitely want it in your collection. Just an absolute beauty and I'll definitely be buying more sabers in the future.
The technology in the saber is great, the xenopixel blade, the app and the core are awesome. The only negative thing I would say is that the replica itself feels cheap. I have a decent amount of sabers and that one does feel like it’s one of the lowest quality hilts I have in my collection
Very first semi expensive saber I have ever own. As a kid I used to always get the cheap plastic swing open ones. The hilt genuinely feels great to hold, and the engravings are extremely detailed & super cool! Sound fonts are wonderful. Plus the ability to just change BGM, color, blade effect...man 100% 5 out of 5 stars!!
10/10 got it as a present for my brother and he absolutely loved it.

I received the saber exactly when I was supposed to and it’s amazing! I also reached out with a few questions and Carl responded within 24 hours and was extremely helpful. I will definitely buy from them again! The stand is beautiful, the saber is excellent! This is my first 7/8” blade and it’s a big difference from the 1” heavy blade. This is definitely more of a medium blade due to flexibility, however it’s not to the degree that it feels overly delicate. It does only have one blade screw vs the multiple screws available on my other 1” Xenopixel blade. It should be noted that the SD card can only be accessed by removing the chassis connector/hilt and sliding it out through a slot at the end. The USB port also cannot be accessed without heating up the board/chassis's glue a bit with a hair dryer and tilting the board up slightly if you plan to update the Proffie board or add new blade styles. This one also doesn’t include the Bluetooth module. I reached out to 89 Sabers to verify and they said I could send the electronics chassis to them to get it added for $20 or I could order a second electronics chassis from them for $120 and they would add the Bluetooth module to that one for me. Don’t let these things dissuade you from buying this though, it is an excellent and beautiful lightsaber and I would definitely buy it again.
